Saanich Peninsula Literacy has safely put together a supply of FREE Family Literacy Packs including resources and activities for you and your family to enjoy. We hope they will inspire outdoor reading and play!

Packages include:

• Information, resources and a listing of organizations offering services, programs and/or support during Covid-19
• 1 free book (from the Open Air Library & Peninsula 1000×5 Project)
• Creative art activity
• Child-friendly recipe
• Activity sheet(s)
• Fruit leather snack

Family Literacy Packs are for Saanich Peninsula residents, and there is a limit of 1 package per child (3 max/per family). Packs can be picked up at the Independent Learning Centre in Saanichton at 1649 Mt.Newton X Rd on July 7th & 16th between 12-2pm. Your package(s) will be set out on a table at the side of the building facing Mt.Newton X Rd.
